About This Site

This site was first created in the spring of 2001. Since then, it has gone through many changes, and is still, in fact, under construction. It is my hope that this site will continue to grow and provide new services to GLBT youth and allies.

Hosting services for this site and it's associated mailing list(s) is provided to us free of charge by Queernet, a program of the Online Policy Group of San Francisco, CA. Many thanks to Roger B.A. Klorese, Queernet and Online Policy Group, without whom this site would probably still be a pipe-dream. Queernet provides web hosting, email and mailing list services to non-profit GLBT organizations and community groups. Many thanks also to the developers who built the open-source, free software this site runs on. The web server hosting this site is running the Apache web server software. Much of this site's content makes use of the PHP4 scripting language, and the site uses a MySQL database server to store information.

This site was created using Macromedia DreamWeaver 4, with graphics work in Adobe Photoshop 6, and is is optimized for Internet Explorer 5.0 and later and Netscape/Mozilla 5.0 and later. Earlier browsers should work, but things might not look as pretty. Javascript and cookie support are required to use Outright Forums.
