Outright would be nothing without the staff, drop-in advisors, and most importantly, the youth. To make it easier for people to interact, we provide a mailing list and web chat forum.
Mailing List
The Outright L/A mailing list is intended to allow youth, advisors and staff to maintain contact outside of the normal drop-in times. To ensure the privacy of the people using the mailing list, requests to join the list must be approved by staff. We're working on making it easier to join, but in the meaintime, do the following:
- Create a new message in your email software
- Address the message to (many thanks to QueerNet for providing the space for the list)
- In the body of the message, type subscribe outrightla your_email_address your_name
- Send it
If your email software has an option for HTML or Plain Text, choose Plain Text.
Your request will be processed as quickly as we are able; we generally process requests within a day or two, sometimes faster.
Web Chat
The online chat system is currently unavailable while we consider safety and security concerns.
Our online chat system enables anyone visiting the site to join an interactive, real-time discussion. You must have Java support enabled in your browser to use the chat system.
